The installation and debugging steps of the idler set are as follows:

I. Preparation before installation
 
  1. Check equipment and parts: Confirm that all parts of the idler set are complete and undamaged, including idlers, brackets, bearings, seals, etc. Check whether the surface of the idler is smooth and free of defects such as cracks and depressions.
  2. Prepare installation tools: Such as wrenches, screwdrivers, jacks, spirit levels, etc.
  3. Determine the installation location: According to the design requirements of the belt conveyor, determine the installation location of the idler set to ensure that it is perpendicular to the center line of the conveyor belt and maintains the correct spacing in the conveying direction.

II. Installation steps
 
  1. Install the bracket: Fix the bracket of the idler set on the frame of the conveyor. Use bolts or welding to ensure that the bracket is firmly and reliably fixed. When installing, ensure the horizontality and verticality of the bracket. A spirit level can be used for measurement and adjustment.
  2. Install the idler: Install the idlers one by one on the bracket. Pay attention to the installation direction and position of the idler. Ensure that the axis of the idler is perpendicular to the running direction of the conveyor belt, and the spacing between the idlers meets the design requirements. For trough idler sets, ensure that the middle idler is horizontal and the inclination angles of the idlers on both sides are correct.
  3. Install bearings and seals: Install the bearings on the shaft of the idler and install the seals to prevent dust, moisture and other impurities from entering the inside of the bearings. When installing, ensure the installation accuracy of the bearings to avoid being too tight or too loose.
  4. Connect the transmission device: If the idler set needs to be connected to a transmission device such as an electric drum or a reducer, connect it according to the installation requirements of the transmission device to ensure a firm and reliable connection and smooth transmission.

III. Debugging steps
 
  1. No-load debugging: After installation is completed, perform no-load debugging first. Start the belt conveyor and observe the operation of the idler set. Check whether the idlers rotate flexibly and whether there are phenomena such as jamming and abnormal noise. Observe whether the conveyor belt runs smoothly on the idler set and whether there are problems such as deviation and bouncing.
  2. Adjust the idler position: If the conveyor belt is found to deviate, the position of the idler set can be adjusted to correct it. For parallel idler sets, the horizontality and verticality of the idlers can be adjusted; for trough idler sets, the inclination angles of the idlers on both sides can be adjusted. Adjustment should be carried out step by step and observe the running condition of the conveyor belt until the deviation problem is solved.
  3. Load debugging: After normal no-load debugging, perform load debugging. Gradually increase the weight of the materials on the conveyor belt and observe the bearing capacity and operation of the idler set. Check whether the idlers are deformed or damaged, and whether the conveyor belt still runs smoothly. If a problem is found, stop the machine in time for inspection and handling.
  4. Adjust the tension: According to the tension requirements of the conveyor belt, adjust the tensioning device of the belt conveyor to make the tension of the conveyor belt moderate. Excessive tension will lead to increased wear of the idler set and conveyor belt, and too little tension will affect the running stability of the conveyor belt.
  5. Final inspection: After debugging is completed, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the idler set, including the rotation of the idler, the temperature of the bearing, the sealing performance of the seal, etc. Ensure that the idler set is installed and debugged correctly and can operate normally.

Shaft: 45# STEEL.Cold-drawn steel S235JRG2 (EN10027-1); ST37 (DIN17100); E24 (AFNOR NFA 35501).
Tube: Q235.DIN2394 standard, the material is ST37 conforming to DIN 17100 standard.
Bearing housing: Cold stamping processing conforms to ISO M7 precision, cold rolling and calibration. The raw material conforms to DIN1623-1624 standard.

Inner sealing ring: NYLON6 (ISO Pa6).
Bearing: Deep groove ball bearing (clearance class C3) of DIN 6263 series. Labyrinth seal: 3-groove type, material ISO PA6 (nylon 6).
Cover: Cold impacted by deep-drawn steel EU 10111-DD13.
Outer sealing ring: Rubber sliding V-ring,wear-resistant, low-friction, ozone-resistant NBR nitrile butadiene rubber.
Protective cover: Mechanical protective bushing to prevent stone impacts. The material is POM polymer or anti-corrosive zinc, aluminum, and copper alloys. Lubricating grease: Water-proof and dust-proof NLGI grade 2 or 3 lithium-based grease is used during assembly for long-term lubrication.
Roller protection: Various types of painting, plastic spraying, galvanizing, and anti-rust tectyl oil.
